The Corca Table
The Corca’s beauty is within the materiality. The rounded edges refine the raw pairing of materials to provide elegance to the compact side table design.
Designed in tandem with the launch of Orior’s Soho showroom, the Corca table was part of a four piece collection heavily inspired by the exploration of bronze.
Its tubular industrial base is crafted with cast bronze. Melted into a liquid form and poured into its cast, before being polished to give it an antique finish. This technique of casting the bronze gives the surface alluring imperfections, that nods to the fabrication of the table.
With a similar process to the bronze, the rare Irish crystal is melted, cast and polished. leaving a cloudy texture to the transparent top, contrasting with the industrial base.
