The Reo Table
A sculptural table combining organic forms.
Irish crystal and solid stone meet in the Reo. The base takes form through hand polishing, making a hard material soft through a sinuous outline, working the stone to reveal its volume in curves.
The Irish crystal top takes form from glass offcuts, melted and cast to create a surface both smooth and textured. A recycled and local material, Irish crystal is uniquely malleable. The pouring process leaves a surface reminiscent of frozen water, providing a fluid sensibility to a solid side table.
